Sr. Engineer-Quality

You will be responsible for ensuring quality control in the manufacturing and outgoing processes within our piston ring plant. Your main duties will include implementing and maintaining quality systems such as PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP, monitoring production quality data to identify root causes of issues, and leading audits and inspections to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with production and R&D teams to effectively resolve quality-related issues, development and upkeep of standard operating procedures and quality documentation, as well as training operators and junior staff on quality standards and best practices will also be part of your role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and possess 10-15 years of relevant experience in the auto component industry, specifically in piston and piston ring manufacturing. Having a deep understanding of piston ring manufacturing processes and quality control is essential, along with a strong command of quality tools such as PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP. Practical experience in managing quality-related issues and customer complaints, coupled with an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, will set you up for success in this role.
