Sr. Engineer - Industrialization Engineering

As a Senior R&D - Mech professional, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the successful development and industrialization of UAVs and its systems. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - **DFX (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) and Design for Serviceability and Maintainability**: Collaborate cross-functionally to mature designs early in the development stage. - **GD&T and Tolerance Stack up Analysis**: Apply sound knowledge of GD&T interpretation in manufacturing processes and conduct Tolerance Stack up Analysis for assemblies. - **Design Quality Assurance**: Perform quality checks for drawings and Bill Of Material (BOM) released from R&D for industrialization and pilot/series production. - **DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)**: Plan and conduct DFMEA for complex sub-systems and components, implementing outcomes into design and manufacturing processes. - **Supplier Collaborations**: Engage in technical discussions with suppliers, incorporating feedback into design and educating them on critical-to-quality aspects. - **Documentations**: Prepare Design Construction documents such as Guidelines and SOPs for design considerations. - **Prototype to Pilot Series Rampup Support**: Assist in ramping up manufacturing and build of UAV parts and assemblies for successful pilot series production. - **Support in Manufacturing Processes**: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Process Team to create Work Instructions and Control Plans for UAV components. - **Staying Informed**: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging techniques, and manufacturing processes to maintain competitiveness. Qualifications and Skills required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Aerospace engineering. A Master's degree would be advantageous. - Experience in Virtual Manufacturing and Industrialization of Aerospace or Aviation designs. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, preferably PTC Creo (CAD) and Windchill (PLM). - Familiarity with UAV/drone or Aerospace machines and relevant standards. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
