Purpose the Job (What is to be achieved from this Position/Job title i.e. Key Result Areas of the position): - Overall responsibility for Purchasing and Cost Estimating activities of Peripheral items like AHU, Scrubber, De-duster Blowe,Spray pump, direct bougth-out Filters,Sfiters,mills,Motors,Geared motors,pumps stc Vendor development of each peripheral items i.e. Minimum three vendors for each item. Implement JIT & ensure 100% OTD (On time delivery) of Peripheral items as per I-FAT needs. Drive Cost reduction through VA/VE & achieve 20% cost saving overall Peripheral category. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure PR-PO conversion within three days from PR date of all peripheral items. Formulate Rate contract for all peripheral items by covering maximum varieties/combinations. Testing kit procurement to be route directly from Manufacture’s to ensure on-time delivery & avoid production loss time. Ensure right first time (RFT) of Peripheral avoid re-work at factory & avoid production loss. Achieve cost reduction through various means like new vendor development, process improvement, INCO term negotiations etc. for peripheral items. Ensure I-FAT point closure on-time. Prepare MIS of Peripheral & prepare/implement action plan on findings. Reduce inventory of Peripheral items to ensure ITR more than 6 Review & reduce lead-time of peripheral items. Support Spares & Service function by meeting their delivery needs. Work Experience Requirements: Product & Project industries procurement experience in Bought-out items. Experience in Vendor evaluation/assessment development, supplier audit. Experience in vendor management, capacity & capability planning. Specific Technical Skills Required Knowledge of Production and Processing. Functional & operational knowledge of bought-out commodities. Knowledge of quality documentation. Knowledge of Taxation, GST, & logistics. Specific Soft Skills Desired Good communicator & listener. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
