Sr. Engineer - Field IT Support

Role Overview: As a Sr. Engineer - Field IT Support in Pune, you will be responsible for providing a variety of information technology support services including connectivity, hardware/software support, and overall Field IT incident & service request resolution. Additionally, you will support the delivery of Enterprise and Business Unit projects and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct hardware installation and provide ongoing support for devices such as PCs, tablets, mobility devices, printers, and specialized devices. - Provide software support and local infrastructure service support including servers, networks, and VOIP. - Assist in identifying and capturing Enterprise and BU project demand, both planned and unplanned. - Offer virtual Tech Hut services in the region. - Execute PC lifecycle management and perform asset management tasks as required by Corporate IT. - Provide onsite Smart Hands support and liaison with 3rd party & internal Johnson Controls Support teams. - Support Identity and Access Management requests including provisioning, de-provisioning, access validation, authentication, network share, and troubleshooting. - Ensure local IT security compliance by setting up and maintaining communications rooms and access, as needed. - Assist compliance teams with audit tasks. - Provide satellite office support and be prepared to travel for field visits when required. - Support IT procurement activities. - Act as an IT escalation point in the region for internal customers facing IT systems, software, and hardware issues that the Service Desk cannot resolve. - Manage the relationship with Corporate IT. - Deliver Field IT Services in accordance with SLTs using Johnson Controls Service Management toolset. - Communicate effectively and provide updates to customers. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Corporate IT environment. - Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an IT Support role. Company's Additional Details: N/A,
