Sr. Engineer / Executive - Operational Purchasing

As a Sr. Engineer / Executive Operational Purchasing at Endress+Hauser, your role involves carrying out tasks allocated by the purchasing manager. This includes supplier and purchase order management, monitoring supply chain performance, handling safety stock levels, managing RFQs, and reporting to management. To be successful in this role, you should be able to multitask, evaluate products and vendors, and maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output - On-time Material procurement: Releasing purchase orders, following up with suppliers, and updating SAP - Monitoring supply chain performance & Agreements with suppliers, communicating order and delivery status - Safety stock: Monitoring levels and raising alarms when below defined levels - Handling Engineering Change Notes: Studying changes, communicating with suppliers, and monitoring status - RFQ management: Studying new RFQs, sharing with potential suppliers, getting quotations, and providing proposals - PDT reduction: Identifying parts for delivery time reduction, defining actions towards targets - Handling Capex and Revenue purchase orders: Releasing PR, PO, and monitoring status - Monthly reporting to Management: Supporting in MIS activities, analyzing supplier delivery performance, and 8D reports - Acting as SPOC for internal and external parties involved **Qualifications Required:** - Graduate Engineering Degree in Mechanical / Production with 4 to 5 years of manufacturing industry experience - Understanding of manufacturing processes such as HPDC, Machined parts, Investment casting, etc. - Knowledge of SAP (PP & MM Modules), LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S - Basic understanding of CAD and 2D Engineering Drawings - Exposure to global working will be an added advantage As part of Endress+Hauser, you can expect to work with one of the world's best employers with a focus on lifelong learning, growth opportunities, work-life balance, flexible working hours, and sustainable mobility solutions.
