Sr. Electrical Engineer

Role Overview: As an Electrical Engineer with 0-2 years of experience in Electrical Power System engineering, you will be responsible for various tasks related to electrical power systems. You are expected to have a sound knowledge of preparation of SLDs / Network diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, Load flow analysis, etc. Additionally, you should be well-versed in Electrical equipment, Switchgears & protections. You should be prepared to visit customer sites for technical data collection & business meetings and possess knowledge about Power distribution network including HT & LT network Dist. Transformers, calculation of Technical losses in distribution network. It would be preferable if you have hands-on experience in Electrical Power system analysis Software like Mi-Power, ETAP, CYMDIST, EDSA, SKM, Dig-silent for simulation studies. Good communication & presentation skills are essential as you may be required to travel and deliver Technical seminar/Webinar as per the organization's needs. Proficiency in MS Office tools & AutoCAD Software is also required. Your role will involve maintaining records of projects, reporting to senior management, providing feedback & remedial solutions for any issues, and addressing project & Software supply related issues raised by the Client. Key Responsibilities: - Applications engineering and System studies on electrical power systems incorporating power system simulation and load flow analysis for transmission and distribution network. - Performing the modeling necessary to conduct power flow and other studies for transmission and distribution planning and analysis in support for various project/business developments. - Providing Technical Support for Various clients for their technical queries related to Power system analysis software, including delivering technical Demo/ Presentation of software products. - Coordinating with the project execution teams for power network analysis and Geographical Information System for attainment of project objectives. - Traveling to client sites for field data collection and client meetings, if required. - Preparation of documents related to the deliverables of the projects i.e. services carried out. - Liaison and correspondence with clients and partners in projects. Qualification Required: - 0-2 years of experience in Electrical Power System engineering. - Knowledge of preparation of SLDs / Network diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, Load flow analysis. - Familiarity with Electrical equipment, Switchgears & protections. - Hands-on experience in Electrical Power system analysis Software like Mi-Power, ETAP, CYMDIST, EDSA, SKM, Dig-silent preferred. - Good communication & presentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office tools & AutoCAD Software.
