Senior DevSecOps Engineer Salesforce Focus

Location: India (Remote/Hybrid flexibility)

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer focused on Salesforce, you will play a critical role in managing and securing our Salesforce environments. You will own the DevOps lifecycle for Salesforceensuring secure and automated deployments, managing multiple sandboxes, and maintaining compliance across all environments. The ideal candidate combines Salesforce administration/dev skills with modern DevSecOps practices, cloud security, and excellent English communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain multiple Salesforce sandboxes, including refreshes, data masking, access controls, and environment strategy.

Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines specific to Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools).

Implement security best practices within Salesforce deployments, including static code analysis, dependency monitoring, and compliance checks.

Partner with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Security teams to automate deployments and reduce release risk.

Integrate Salesforce DevOps pipelines with broader enterprise DevSecOps tools for visibility and compliance reporting.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Salesforce deployments and system performance across environments.

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing resources for Salesforce DevOps and security practices.

Stay up to date with Salesforce release cycles, DevSecOps best practices, and security compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on DevSecOps engineering experience, with at least 3+ years focused on Salesforce.

Proven experience managing Salesforce sandboxes, deployments, and release governance.

Prior experience working in an English-speaking professional environment is required.

Technical Skills:

Expertise with Salesforce-specific DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit, or similar).

Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, APIs, and package deployment models (unlocked/managed packages).

Proficiency with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab).

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Familiarity with Salesforce security controls, data masking, and compliance requirements.

Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.

Communication Skills:

Excellent spoken and written English skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to global teams.

Strong documentation and presentation skills for leadership and stakeholders.

Preferred:

Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or DevOps Center knowledge).

Security or DevOps certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CKS, or similar
