Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using Laravel and MongoDB.
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for web and mobile platforms.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance and database queries for high-volume data transactions in MongoDB.
  • Manage data modeling and schema design in a NoSQL environment.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver robust features and products.
  • Maintain security standards and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production issues as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years of experience in software development with strong backend experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Laravel Framework (Laravel 8 or later).
  • Strong proficiency in MongoDB schema design, aggregation framework, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Expertise in PHP 7/8, OOP, and design patterns.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Proficiency with Git, Composer, and modern PHP development tools.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture, queue systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis), and caching strategies.
