Sr. Designer Engineer (Steel Structures)

Role Overview: As a Sr. Design Engineer (Structural Designer) with 3-5 years of experience, your main objective will be to stay updated with the latest advancements in structural software and civil engineering practices. You will be responsible for designing structural components and systems for Substation projects, ensuring that designs meet client requirements and recognized codes and standards. Additionally, you will manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations. As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to mentor junior members and interns, prepare engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, and manage documentation. Furthermore, you will provide technical support to structural engineers, draftspersons, and graduate engineers, and conduct meetings with clients. Key Responsibilities: - Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural software and civil engineering practices - Design structural components and systems for Substation projects - Ensure designs meet client requirements and recognized codes and standards - Manage projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and client expectations - Mentor junior members of project teams and interns - Prepare engineering concept plans, detailed design plans, and manage documentation - Provide technical support to structural engineers, draftspersons, and graduate engineers - Conduct meetings with clients Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.E Civil/M.Tech Civil) - Minimum of 3-5 years of design experience - Previous experience in structural design projects (USA) - Proficiency in software such as RAM Connection, SAFE, ETAB, Staad Pro, Revit Structure - Familiarity with US CODE - AISC, ASCE - Strong communication and presentation skills (Note: Additional Details section omitted as it does not contain any company-specific information),
