Sr. Design Engineer - Draftsman (CAD/ PVsyst)

Description: Essential Duties: 1. Site visit • Site Measurement: Roof detail measurement, cable route marking, termination point marking • Propose all component location to client. 2. People co-ordination • Updating daily work to reporting manager 3. Detailed Engineering • Detailed site visit report preparation • Understanding the OTM, Scope Matrix and KOM documents for the project • Preparation of shadow analysis report • Preparation of detailed array layout, SLD and GFC documents • Preparation of BOM and BOS estimation sheet Key competencies: Technical skills 1. Drafting 2. Electrical knowledge 3. Civil & Structural knowledge Computer and Software skills: 1. Engineering softwares like AutoCAD, Google Sketch-Up, PV Syst, Solar Labs, Helioscope, SolidWorks 2. MS Excel 3. MS PowerPoint JD for Draftsman Civil: Engineer having 5-10 year experience in solar energy system design, preferably in the renewable energy industry or engineering consultancy. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, 3D CAD, etc), solar design tools (e.g., PVsyst), Shadow analysis & Layout preparation in SketchUp Prepare complete drawing and layout for ground base solar power plant and its auxiliary structures like drainage, road, fencing etc. Prepare G.A and detail drawings of ICR, MCR structures and Switch Yards. Develop Fabrication drawing for MMS Structure and BOQ Develop site layout in Auto Cad using Google Earth files. Pile co-ordinate marking & Tracker array layout for capacity estimation. Site Visit at the initial stage of the project to know the site challenges at the time of execution. Collaborate with vendors, cross function & field team regarding drawing, layout, design related concerns Ability to work under pressure and deadlines, excellent time management.
