Sr. Data Analyst

As a Business Analytics/Product Analytics professional, you will be responsible for developing an in-depth understanding of user journeys on Airtel Digital Channels. Your primary objective will be to generate data-driven insights and recommendations to assist the product business in making meticulous decisions. You will be expected to take end-to-end ownership of key metrics and collaborate with product owners to ensure that the metrics are moving in the desired direction. Your role will involve developing strong hypotheses, conducting A/B experiments, and confidently identifying areas of opportunity. Working cross-functionally, you will define problem statements, gather data, build analytical models, and provide recommendations based on your findings. You will also be tasked with implementing efficient processes for data reporting, dashboarding, and communication. To excel in this role, you should possess a B.Tech/BE degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or have a background in Statistics/Operations Research. With at least 3 years of experience in core business analytics or product analytics, you should have a deep understanding of SQL and Python/R. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Superset is essential, along with hands-on experience working with large datasets. Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you engage senior management with data and work on data structures, ETL pipelines, and feature modeling. Familiarity with tools such as Clickstream, Google Analytics, and Moengage will be advantageous. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams, including data engineering and product squads, will further enhance your profile.
