The role of an S4 HANA SD (Sales and Distribution) SAP consultant involves providing expertise and support in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of SAP SD modules for clients. The consultant will work closely with business and Power users to understand their business needs and develop customized solutions that meet those needs. The consultant will also be responsible for training and supporting businesses on the use of SAP SD as needed.
The resource should have strong knowledge of FI integration overall and experience in SAP document compliance cockpit which used for e-invoice
Responsibilities

S4 HANA Implementation, rollout, and AMS experience is a must. Experience in SAP FIORI is a must.
- Gathering client requirements: Understanding the clients business processes and requirements related to Quotation, sales, pricing, DN, shipping, and billing, LE & TM.
- Designing and configuring solutions: Utilizing SAP SD module functionalities to design and configure solutions that meet the clients requirements. This includes defining sales organizations, distribution channels, pricing procedures, and customer master data.
- Customizing and testing: Customizing SAP SD functionalities to align with the clients specific business needs. Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the solution works as intended.
- Training and documentation: Providing training to end-users on how to use the SAP SD system effectively. Creating documentation and user manuals to support training efforts.
- Support and troubleshooting: Assisting users in resolving issues related to SAP SD modules. Investigating and analyzing system errors, proposing solutions, and implementing fixes.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Collaborating with other SAP consultants, functional teams (such as finance or logistics), and technical teams to ensure seamless integration between different modules and systems.
- Project management: Managing project tasks, timelines, and deliverables related to SAP SD implementation or upgrade projects. Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
8-10 years of core experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD)
Hands-on experience with S/4 HANA
- Proven experience in leading and managing SAP implementation or rollout projects.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience in translating business requirements into solutions and assist in the continual improvement with knowledge of best practices.
- Should have the following experience with S/4 HANA:
- 2 Implementations and AMS
- 2 Rollouts
- Experience in LE modules
- SAP Certifications for SD and LE SAP - good to have
Desired Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD and LE, FIORI
- Experience with SAP Best Practices
- Should be capable of completing tasks and activities in a timely manner.
- Must be able to prepare all documentation like business blueprints, configuration documents, Functional Specifications, test cases, user manuals, etc.
- Experience and Knowledge in Fiori Apps, Fiori Launchpad, Fiori Launchpad Designer configuration and feature, and Fiori Application Types is good to have.
- Experience in leading and validating cutover activities as required.
- A proactive mindset to follow up with various stakeholders for project related.
- Experience in conducting, leading, and controlling requirement-gathering workshops.
- Experience to take MoM, prepare business blueprint documents, functional specifications, configuration documents, Test scripts for UT, SIT and UAT, Training manuals etc.
