Sr. BIM Engineer - Civil

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior BIM Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Building Information Modeling (BIM) focusing on civil engineering projects. As a Senior BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing BIM processes, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring the successful integration of BIM at all project development stages. Your main responsibilities will include leading the development and implementation of BIM strategies for civil engineering projects, collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to define project requirements and BIM deliverables, creating and managing BIM models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, coordinating clash detection and resolution processes, developing and maintaining BIM standards, providing technical support and training to project teams, conducting quality control checks on BIM models, staying updated on emerging BIM technologies, assisting in the preparation of BIM-related documentation, and participating in project meetings and coordination sessions. Preferred skills for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), a minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM implementation and management focusing on civil engineering projects, proficiency in BIM software applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360, a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and experience with GIS and interoperability between BIM and GIS platforms is a plus.
