Job Description

Seeking an experienced full-stack cloud developer with strong AWS expertise, scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript), and familiarity with modern DevOps, serverless, and containerized architectures. The role involves building and maintaining APIs, automation pipelines, and cloud-native solutions, while collaborating across teams to drive innovation, reporting, and infrastructure automation.

Partner with internal business and external vendors to collaboratively trouble shoot, problem solve and gather business and technical requirements.

Collect, generate, analyse, and summarize data to proactively identify business trend and potential issues. Present metrics in an organized and understandable format to help make informed and timely decisions. Create a variety of reports/dashboard/alerts to meet business and leadership needs.
Work on innovative initiates to enhance features and performances of the team s products including but not limited to cloud technologies, monitoring Api, alert logs, API logs, IAM management, SCP policy management etc.
Support Infrastructure efforts to become a highly automation centric team (Think AWS Cloud Automation Maturity)

JOB requirements - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Minimum 5 years of development or Devops work within on premise and AWS cloud bringing custom modifications, enhancements, or automated processes for total CICD implementation. (AIOps, Minor AI integrations is a plus)
Proficiency in bash, PowerShell and JavaScript is required. (Python experience is a plus)
Familiarity with a wide range of AWS services including but not limited to IAM, SCP, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, SES, Route 53, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, RDS EC2, VPC, IAM, SSM, Security Manager, KMS, ACM, CloudFormation, terraform (any Infra As Code standard), Code Pipeline, Code Star, Code Build, Code Deploy
Some experiences with SQL and database technologies
Familiarity with one or more modern back-end service development technologies/Ecosystem (e.g., Python Django/Flask, NodeJS, Spring, .NET Core) is optional.
Familiarity with modern front end development technologies/Ecosystem (e.g., React, Vue, HTML, CSS) is optional.
Familiarity with modern DevOps engineering technologies/tools (e.g., networking, security, CICD, Infrastructure as Code) is required.
Familiarity with both serverless (cloud native) and containerized (docker, Kubernetes) solution, extensive experiences on designing and implementing both is preferred.
Familiarity with IT system monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch, Datadog, Grafana) is preferred.
Minimum 3 year of experience with reporting and analysis; specifically for project implementations and support
Minimum 1 year in project planning focused on gathering business and technical requirements, project estimation, and project plan maintenance, with proven communication strategies.
Critical thinking with a drive for process improvement. (Think automation via AWS Lambda or pipeline deployment)
Ability to work on multiple projects and possess strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Bachelor s degree in an appropriate field (MIS or CS preferred)
7+ years professional experience in an AWS developer role
Retail experience preferred but not mandatory
