Sr. Automation Test Engineer

As a Test Automation Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining reusable and scalable automation test frameworks using Page Object Model (POM). You will be responsible for creating and executing automation test scripts, performing regression tests, and verifying defect closure. Your expertise will be utilized in enhancing test cases/test scripts by using element locators, webdriver methods, JavaScript programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations. Error handling, analysis of test results, and reporting defects are also crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Your tasks will include creating data-driven tests and running them through the framework, developing test scenarios and test cases for user stories, and contributing to the team by participating in agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management. Identifying, verifying, reporting, and regressing bugs, as well as tracking defects and selecting test cases for regression testing, are essential parts of your role. It is expected that you have a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles. Additionally, you will be involved in estimating, planning, and tracking testing efforts, as well as gaining project and test management experience. Planning, coordinating, and controlling various test activities, coupled with a good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), will be key to your success. **Primary Skillset:** - Selenium - Java **Secondary Skillset:** - Playwright - Typescript/Javascript,
