Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual and Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for both software and hardware components. This role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing, with a focus on API, mobile, and white-box testing. You will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our next-generation automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing automotive software and systems.
• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and scripts using

  Java

  and

  Python

  .
• Perform thorough

  API testing

  using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks to validate backend services and integrations.
• Conduct

  Mobile testing

  on both iOS and Android platforms to ensure functionality, performance, and user experience for our connected car applications.
• Execute

  white-box testing

  techniques to inspect internal workings and logic of the code, collaborating closely with developers to identify and resolve issues at the unit and integration levels.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover complex edge-case defects.
• Work with embedded systems and automotive-specific protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) to validate hardware-software interactions.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Continuously improve the testing processes and strategies, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and testing tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-8 years

  of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing, with a significant portion in an automation role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages for automation:

  Java

  or

  Python

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Proven experience with

  API testing

  tools and methodologies.
• Solid background in

  Mobile testing

  for both native and hybrid applications on iOS and Android.
• Expertise in

• A strong understanding of the
