Job Description

Senior QA Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

Framework Development:
Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
Scripting and Execution:
Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure quality and functionality.
Collaboration:
Work closely with QA leads, developers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals.
Analysis and Reporting:
Perform detailed analysis of test results, report issues, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
Optimization:
Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved efficiency and reliability.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on the latest automation tools and technologies to ensure continuous improvement in QA processes.

Skills

Strong expertise in
Selenium
and
Cucumber
.
Proven ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch.
Proficiency in programming languages such as
Java
or
Python
.
Solid understanding of testing methodologies,
Agile processes
, and
CI/CD pipelines
.
Experience with tools like
Git
for version control and
Jenkins
or similar for CI/CD integration.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in
BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
and writing Gherkin scripts is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments and cross-browser testing tools is a plus.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.
