Sr. Architect- Testing
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test designs across all Serviceability streams to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Lead and coordinate junior QA engineers and contract resources for test automation and execution.
- Execute testing activities aligned with Quality System Procedures, software version control, configuration management, and the SDLC.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, applicable laws, and regulatory standards, including FDA requirements; report any non-compliance immediately.
- Manage issue/bug tracking, resolution, and communication with application support teams.
- Review technical documentation on design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of application components.
- Collaborate with project leaders, system architects, and engineers to develop risk-based integration and testing strategies.
- Review design verification documents, FMEAs, and risk assessments; perform gap analyses against standards and regulations.
- Define and maintain test environments and test beds for verification activities.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for software development and testing processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies and frameworks.
- Engage in all phases of testing from planning through deployment and feedback incorporation.

Minimum required Education:
Bachelors / Masters Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum required Experience:
- Minimum 14 years of experience as a Test and Verification Lead or Architect in an industrial product R&D or regulated environment.
- Strong preference for experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing test strategies and managing test teams.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and reusable test suites.
- Proficient with test management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Experience in non-functional testing (NFT), including performance and reliability testing.
- Familiarity with testing RESTful web services using tools like Rest Assured or Postman is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards such as DICOM and HL7 is an advantage.
- Experience with monitoring/visualization tools like Grafana is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with vendors and third-party consultants is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to negotiate and capture detailed requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in compliance with FDA and other regulatory frameworks.
