Sr. Analyst - Portfolio Reconciliation

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for performing medium complex accounts, resolving breaks, and collaborating with internal teams and external parties. Your duties will involve understanding and managing Market Value Reconciliations, supporting fellow team members, troubleshooting queries, and conducting review-related activities. You will also handle queries from external teams and custodians. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business, and possess 5 to 7 years of work experience in investment/mutual fund operations or a related field. A good understanding of Capital Markets and Investment banking is essential. You should have strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. In this role, you will identify and resolve issues related to client data, trade breaks, and reconciliation breaks. You will be responsible for preparing reports, maintaining controls in line with internal policies and client needs, and interacting with various internal and external teams including senior operations staff, IT team, Trade Support, custodians, and portfolio managers to address issues. Furthermore, you will strengthen relationships with internal and external personnel to seek information, educate, and resolve problems efficiently. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounts, conducting thorough research on breaks, understanding inputs and data flow, and developing a comprehensive understanding of the organization's products, procedures, and client needs. You will proactively seek ways to enhance efficiency in resolving breaks and continuously expand your knowledge through research, training programs, and participation in investment activities.
