Job Description

In this role at Illumina, you will be part of a team that is working towards expanding access to genomic technology to achieve health equity for billions of people globally. Your work will contribute to life-changing discoveries that are revolutionizing human health by enabling early disease detection, diagnosis, and innovative treatment options for patients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage operational and month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and associated reporting in compliance with IND AS. - Prepare local statutory financial statements following IND AS guidelines and lead or coordinate the statutory audit by collaborating with external auditors and internal stakeholders. - Oversee local compliance activities related to financial reporting, including ECB filing. - Act as the primary point of contact with the corporate secretarial agent. - Drive or participate in process improvement initiatives using analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Provide advisory support on India local regulatory compliances and accounting when necessary. - Assist the Tax Team with data requests. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. - Solid understanding of IND AS and local regulatory requirements. - Experience in managing month-end close activities and financial reporting. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. - Prior experience in coordinating statutory audits is a plus.
