Squash Coach

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Squash Coach to lead and develop squash training programs for players of varying skill levels. The ideal candidate will bring energy, technical knowledge, and a commitment to player development and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and conduct structured squash training sessions for beginners to advanced players.

● Provide one-on-one coaching and group training as needed.

● Develop athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects of the game.

● Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback.

● Prepare athletes for competitive tournaments at local, regional, and national levels.

● Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.

● Maintain equipment and ensure court readiness.

● Promote squash and increase participation within the community/organization.

● Collaborate with other coaches and staff to deliver a holistic athletic program.

Requirements:

● Proven experience as a squash coach or former competitive squash player.

● Certification from a recognized squash body.

● Strong understanding of squash techniques, strategy, and rules.

● Ability to coach various age groups and skill levels.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

● Passionate about athlete development and sports ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience coaching in school, academy, or club environments.

● Background in sports psychology or physical conditioning.

● Experience organizing tournaments or squash events.
