You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions using MS SQL Server (SSMS). Additionally, you will troubleshoot and migrate business logic from PL/SQL to T-SQL where necessary. Performing query performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing will be a key part of your role. You will be involved in designing and maintaining database objects to ensure data integrity and security. Developing ETL workflows to support data integration and transformation needs will also be within your responsibilities. Collaboration with Database Administrators, Analysts, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions is essential. Supporting process improvement and automation initiatives related to database development will also be part of your tasks. Your understanding of relational data models and contribution to database design and documentation will be crucial. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an SQL Developer or in data storage and management roles. - Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server platform and environment, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). - In-depth knowledge of SQL Tables, data types, stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL programming. - Ability to understand PL/SQL and translate/troubleshoot logic into T-SQL. - Experience in query performance tuning and optimization. - Exposure to ETL workflow development and data integration processes. - Familiarity with relational data models and database design tools is an advantage. - Experience with process improvement and automation in database development is a plus. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with various teams.
