Job Description

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Database Developer with strong expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL tools to join our dynamic data team.

Experience: 4 10 years

Location: Mumbai

Mode of Work : Full time -hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Develop Python scripts for automation, data manipulation, and data processing tasks.

Work with Informatica, Talend, or other ETL tools for data integration and workflow orchestration.

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and scripts for performance and scalability.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the pipelines.

Document ETL processes, data models, and technical specifications .

Requirements:

4+ years of professional experience in SQL development and working with any RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Strong experience in Python scripting for data processing and automation tasks.

Experience working with Informatica, Talend, or other ETL tools.

Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database design.

Ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code.

Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for large-scale data processing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have skills:

Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, or Google BigQuery.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices.

Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation.

Understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality frameworks
