Job Summary

SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases (tables, views, indexes, triggers).
  
• Write complex

  SQL queries, stored procedures, functions

  , and packages.
• Optimize query performance and tune databases for scalability and efficiency.
  
• Perform data analysis, data validation, and data migration activities.
  
• Collaborate with application teams to integrate databases with applications.
  
• Ensure data integrity, security, and backup/recovery processes.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
  
• Support reporting and analytics requirements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in

  SQL

  (Oracle SQL / MS SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL).
• Experience with

  Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers

  .
• Good understanding of

  database design, normalization, and indexing

  .
• Knowledge of

  query optimization and performance tuning

  .
• Experience with

  ETL processes

  and data integration.
• Familiarity with

  Unix/Linux shell scripting

  (preferred).
• Understanding of

  data security and access control

  .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  PL/SQL or T-SQL

  .
• Exposure to

  BI tools

  (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
• Knowledge of

  cloud databases

  (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
• Experience with version control tools (Git).
  

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
