We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai/Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server and related database technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions to meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities. Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL databases and ensure data integrity and security. Write complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for application development. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring maximum uptime and availability. Collaborate with development teams to define data requirements and implement database solutions. Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery operations. Implement and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices. Provide support for production systems, ensuring issues are resolved promptly. Document database architecture, configurations, and processes. Stay updated with emerging database technologies and integrate them where applicable. Qualifications. Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Microsoft Certification in SQL Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) is preferred. Technical Skills :. Proficiency in MS SQL Server (2016 and above). Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming and performance tuning. Experience with database design, indexing, and optimization techniques. Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS. Knowledge of database replication, mirroring, and clustering. Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus. Working knowledge of version control systems like Git. Soft Skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
