SQL Database Administrator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Work from office is mandatory (WFH is not available on this position).
2. Candidate should possess 8+years of working experience as a SQL DBA.
3. Should be ready to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
4. Able to handle production issue
5. Independently analyze, solve, and fix issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
6. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
7. Interact with client/onsite counterpart for issue resolution.
8. Able to follow the incident/change/problem management process.
9. Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
10. Should be comfortable to work in clean room with project specific limitations.
11. Shifts Work in different shift timings based on the client need and depending on Release / DR / Onshore Holiday support occasions. REQUIRED SKILLS
12. Strong experience with SQL Server Support and Migrations as a DBA.
13. Good experience in SQL Server Integration Services, Policy Management & performance tuning/optimization.
14. Good working experience of T-SQL (Indexes, Triggers, Functions, Packages and Procedures)
15. Strong experience with SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017; familiarity with SQL Server 2019.
16. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
17. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
18. Good in SQL query tuning and schema refinement.
19. Experience with Windows Servers & AD.
20. Good understanding of Linked Servers and Aliases.
21. Strong communication.
22. Self-starter capable of working independently.
23. Experience in serving clients using ITIL (Incident, Change & Problem Management) process.
24. Good client-facing and internal communication skills.
25. Good written and verbal communication skills.
26. Flexible, team player with perseverance to deliver at any cost.
27. Ability to organize and plan work independently.
28. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
29. Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams.
