SQL and Banking Domain Support Engineer

Job Description: You are a skilled SQL and Banking Domain Support Engineer responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of banking software solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support for banking software applications. - Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL database issues. - Work closely with banking clients to understand and resolve their queries. - Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency. - Assist in database maintenance, backups, and restoration processes. - Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve system functionality. - Document troubleshooting steps and best practices for future reference. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in SQL query writing, debugging, and optimization. - Experience in the banking domain or financial applications is preferred. - Knowledge of RDBMS such as MySQL, SQL Server. - Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application-related issues. - Familiarity with core banking systems or financial transactions is a plus. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with stored procedures, indexing, and query performance tuning. - Understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. - Hands-on experience with API integrations and reporting tools.
