About the Role

Spring Boot Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs using

  Spring Boot

  and related Spring modules (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Implement

  microservices architecture

  , ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and front-end systems.
  
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  
• Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  
• Perform unit and integration testing using

  JUnit

  ,

  Mockito

  , or similar frameworks.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
  
• Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and design discussions.
  
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in

  Java

  and

  Spring Boot

  development.
• Strong knowledge of:
  

• Spring Framework

  (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud)

• RESTful API design

  and

  JSON/XML

  data handling

• ORM frameworks

  like Hibernate or JPA

• Relational databases

  (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Good understanding of

  microservices

  ,

  service discovery

  , and

  API gateway

  concepts.
• Experience with

  build tools

  (Maven/Gradle) and

  version control systems

  (Git).
• Familiarity with

  Docker

  Kubernetes

  , or

  CI/CD pipelines

  is a plus.
• Knowledge of

  (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ) preferred.
