Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and conduct physical education classes for students as per curriculum standards. Teach rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports such as football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, cricket, etc. Identify and nurture sporting talent within the school. Organize inter-house and inter-school competitions and events. Ensure the safety of students during physical activities. Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities. Promote teamwork, discipline, fair play, and leadership through sports. Collaborate with academic and non-academic staff for holistic student development. Maintain student records including attendance, fitness levels, and performance. Prepare students for district/state/national level tournaments. Conduct health and wellness sessions as needed. Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or equivalent. Proven experience as a sports teacher or coach, preferably in an educational institution. Strong knowledge of sports rules, techniques, and fitness training. First Aid certification (preferred). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Energetic, enthusiastic, and physically fit.
