Speech Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication difficulties in students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment.
• Offer guidance and training to parents and staff to support communication development at home and school.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices and new developments in speech and language therapy.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss student progress and needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid license or certification as a Speech Therapist/Pathologist (as per local regulations).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting (preferred).
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in children.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and engage students.

Skills:

• Expertise in assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches for individual student needs.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Collaboration and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
