Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate the communication and language abilities of children and develop appropriate intervention plans. 2. Providing speech-language therapy services to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques and interventions. 3. Monitoring and tracking progress of children receiving speech-language services, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. 4. Leading and participating in team meetings, case conferences, and multidisciplinary collaborations to discuss and develop effective strategies for children with diverse learning needs. 5. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote generalization of speech and language skills across various settings. 6. Developing and implementing training programs and workshops for parents, caregivers, and staff to enhance their understanding and support of speech and language development. 7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans. Qualifications : Bachelors of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology ( BASLP ) or Diploma in Diploma in Hearing, Language and Speech ( DHLS ) Minimum of 6 months of experience in speech-language pathology, with a focus on working with pediatric population. Experience working with children with speech, language, and communication disorders is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems is advantageous. We are looking for a Senior Special Educator to join our school program team and help us create inclusive learning environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the school special education program , ensuring effective support for children with diverse learning needs. Conduct individual and group assessments to identify student needs and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) . Provide academic and behavioral interventions tailored to students’ unique requirements. Train and mentor junior educators and support staff to implement inclusive practices. Collaborate with school teachers, counselors, and parents to promote holistic development. Conduct workshops and awareness sessions for teachers on recognizing red flags and classroom management strategies . Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and documentation requirements. Stay updated with best practices in special education and contribute to program development. Qualifications & Experience Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (recognized by RCI). Valid RCI Registration is mandatory. Minimum 6–7 years of work experience in special education (school or therapy centre setting). Prior experience working with NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) curriculum will be a huge advantage . Strong expertise in designing and implementing IEPs, academic modifications, and behavioral strategies. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
