Specification Consultant

Role Overview: As a Specification Consultant at ASSA ABLOY Openings Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for leading and implementing pre-sales technical activities to enable the Projects business. Your role involves catering to market/project needs by interacting with ENOX distributors/partners, regional sales team, architects, consultants, and specifiers to ensure that specifications align with the company's strategic objectives and customer requirements. You will also act as a subject matter expert for project business matters related to glass hardware, sliding systems, automatics, and architectural hardware. Your strong understanding of construction materials, systems, and standards will make you a key advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage project specifications for construction, engineering, and design projects, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements. - Collaborate with ENOX channel partners, regional sales team, architects, engineers, and project managers to align specifications with design intent and budget constraints. - Select and recommend appropriate solutions to the target audience, focusing on solution selling. - Increase the specifications funnel with a complete range of products, including mechanical, automatics, glass, sliders, etc. - Work closely with the Sales team to convert specifications into actual sales. - Manage and actively engage with key accounts of assigned architects and consultants. - Maintain excellent working relationships with consultants and provide timely information. - Conduct training events with Architects and Design firms to drive brand awareness. - Ensure all specification documents and enquiries are maintained and updated appropriately. - Provide regular updates to senior management about the team's progress, challenges, and successes. - Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product or project specifications. Qualifications Required: - Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical stream or related discipline. - Familiarity with REVIT or CAD programs. - Relevant experience of 1-2 years in a similar industry.
