Role & responsibilities

What were looking for:

We are looking for an experienced automotive Sr. Engineer to lead NVH simulation for two wheeler vehicle chassis, sub frame, electric motor, power train, gear transmission, mountings and Electrical & Electronics components (Battery pack). You will see the big picture and create vehicle NVH COE and innovative design solutions for mechanical & Electric system design and implementation, work with a various dept such as vehicle engineering, Electronics, Motor, styling, development, sourcing, electrical, quality, production, service, marketing etc. and isn't afraid to roll-up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Preferred candidate profile

What you will own and do:

Lead and execute two wheeler vehicle and component NVH simulation.

Define the vehicle simulation & testing DVPs for vehicle NVH performance, transient, frequency, vibration, modal analysis, noise level etc.

Define the vehicle customer NVH touch points and its simulation, data analysis, resolution and design improvement.

Define the vehicle customer touch NVH points and its measurement on chassis dyno and on-road , data analysis, resolution and improvement.

Work with ARAI team for homologation and mandatory testing execution.

Work with supplier for simulation software, development, testing and design finalization & optimization.

Work with manufacturing and proto team for vehicle development.

Work with design team for vehicle design and problem resolution.

Benchmark and drive best feature for product with given time and required quality.

What you will bring to us:

• Previous experience in Motorcycle or Scooter NVH Simulation and testing.
• Knowledge on Noise and Vibration basic & fundamentals.
• Hands on experience of NVH Simulation software like Ansys workbench.
• Worked with simulation and testing agency/supplier for NVH.
• Excellent knowledge on motorcycle vehicle sub system, simulation, testing, function, integration and exposure to work with supplier.
• Should have deep knowledge of Acoustics, Noise and Vibrations.
• Should have core Vibration and Noise Simulation experience like Normal Modes, Modal assurance criteria, FRF.
• Vibration Transfer Functions, SB Noise Transfer Functions, AB Acoustic Transfer
• Functions, Absolute Noise predictions, Acoustic Modes, Sound Transmission Loss, Sound Insertion Loss etc.
• Should have very good knowledge of numerical techniques like Finite Element Method (FEM), Boundary Element Method (BEM) and Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA).
• Understand the NVH measurement Data and derive inputs accordingly for the Simulations and Correlations.
• Setting NVH targets and Deploy system/component target.

Qualification &Experience:

• M. Tech/ B Tech / BE in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

• Overall experience of 10+ Years in Automotive industry.
