As a Software Test Automation Engineer at MetLife, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in Java, OOPs concepts, Selenium Web Driver, Maven, TestNG, Page Factory/POM, Extent reporting, Apache POI, and Error Handling to ensure the quality of our software products. Your role will involve working in an agile model, writing test scenarios & test cases, and setting up reporting with Selenium Web Driver. You will be expected to have hands-on experience in functional, integration, system, UAT, and regression testing, as well as a good understanding of different automation and testing frameworks. Leadership skills are essential as you will lead a team and engage in client communication. Additionally, knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation, Defect Management process, SDLC, and STLC will be crucial for success in this role. Good verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
