Specialist Software Engineer (MSBI, SQL Server)

As a skilled professional in MS SQL Server and MSBI, you will be responsible for delivering reporting, database, data integration, and cube solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding requirements, analyzing data, and providing high-quality solutions independently. Collaboration with the onshore team for requirements and development activities will be a key aspect of your role. Your proficiency in writing T-SQL queries, experience in DTS, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS will enable you to create and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and perform data migration to SQL Server from various sources. Additionally, your ability to create and update database documentation will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations. Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you will interact with onshore IT and Business teams. Experience in working with Scrum and Agile methodologies will be beneficial for development and support activities. Furthermore, you will be involved in optimizing existing databases and business logic source code, designing, testing, and deploying database schemas, and tuning database performance. Your problem-solving abilities will be put to the test as you identify bottlenecks and provide suitable workarounds. Familiarity with .NET technologies and database design methodologies will be advantageous. Your understanding of C#, XML/XSD, and prior experience in .NET development will be beneficial for the role.
