Specialist - Product Expert (Air Cargo)

As a Specialist Product Expert at Accelya, you will utilize your expertise in the air cargo industry and software solutions to shape the future of the product. Your main responsibilities will include: - Engaging with key airline and cargo industry stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and trends that will enhance the product's capabilities, increase its value proposition, and improve competitive advantage. - Collaborating with internal product, data, and engineering teams to define and document business requirements aligned with the industry and organization's vision. - Supporting the delivery of product features and leading rollouts at various customers, serving as the subject matter expert on cargo commercial and operational solutions. - Participating in product industry and customer engagements in presales, end-to-end demos, and other activities as necessary to promote the product. - Serving as a central point of contact for internal teams, acting as the subject matter expert for air cargo commercial and operations functions and leading new/enhanced solutions in these areas. - Assisting internal teams in analyzing and resolving critical issues to enhance SWOT teams. Qualifications and Experience: - Extensive expertise and practical experience in air cargo offer, order, and operations disciplines within an airline or air cargo solutions provider. - Proficient in functional documentation and collaborating with UX teams for product design. Exposure to API-based design and documentation is desirable. - Strong understanding of IT technology concepts, software architectures, and product management principles. - Previous hands-on experience of at least 5 to 8 years in air cargo. - Bachelor's degree in aviation, IT, or relevant disciplines. - Experience working in a SAFe agile environment.
