Specialist, Business Analysis (Data Services)

As a Specialist in Business Analysis at BetaNXT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the wealth advisor experience by leveraging real-time data capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with internal stakeholders to gather and elaborate on requirements, collaborate with the Data Services Product team, developers, and QA teams to ensure a clear path to execution for data solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather user requirements from external/internal clients via User Requirements Documentation and/or end-user interviews - Participate in project estimation process - Build relationships with various external and internal stakeholders - Create functional design documents based on user requirements - Develop a strong test plan and execute test scripts for functional testing - Provide on-going project support for regression, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing - Report project status to stakeholders and senior executives - Develop implementation plans and validate successful project implementation - Share your passion for staying updated on trends, experimenting with new technologies, and mentoring other members of the financial technology community **Qualifications Required:** - 6-10 years of professional experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in the brokerage or financial services industry - Experience in client-facing document writing such as scope document, functional documents, and use cases - Hands-on experience in building and testing RESTful APIs and SQL - Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field - Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills - Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively - Ability to work autonomously and in teams, adapt to new technologies quickly, and build successful client and internal team relationships This role at BetaNXT offers you the opportunity to be part of a robust Data Services team, reporting to the Head of Data Services.
