Special Educator Remedial Teaching (Leave Vacancy)

As a Special Educator at our school, you will be responsible for understanding each student's specific needs and learning gaps. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assessing and evaluating each student's cognitive, social, physical, ADLs, language, and communication abilities, as well as their current level of functioning. - Writing S.M.A.R.T. goals and delivering appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address the current needs and bridge the learning gaps. - Engaging in report writing and maintaining records of students" files and attendance during sessions. - Conducting effective group teaching and individual teaching sessions in the areas of Language and Mathematics for Primary/ Elementary and Middle wing students. - Creating and utilizing resources and teaching aids to enhance the learning experience. To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Graduate/Postgraduate degree, preferably in Maths/ Science. - B.Ed / M.Ed in Special Education. - Appreciable knowledge of IT skills to create resources, power-points, and slides for teaching purposes.
