Spare Parts Executive

Job Summary:

The Spare Parts Executive is responsible for assisting in the management of spare parts operations, ensuring the timely availability of parts for both the workshop and retail customers. The role involves handling parts requests, maintaining accurate inventory records, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, identify, and store incoming spare parts properly.
• Issue parts to technicians and update records in the DMS or inventory system.
• Assist in maintaining optimum stock levels and reorder points.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts orders and deliveries.
• Support the parts incharge in preparing purchase requests and stock reports.
• Handle retail counter sales and attend to customer parts inquiries.
• Ensure correct billing and documentation of all parts transactions.
• Assist in conducting periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain proper labeling and organisation in the parts store.
• Support warranty and parts return processes.
• Coordinate with the service department for daily parts requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

For Freshers:

• Diploma or Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
• Basic knowledge of automotive components and workshop operations.

For Experienced Candidates:

• 1–3 years of experience in spare parts or warehouse operations (preferably in the automobile industry).
• Familiarity with DMS or ERP software (e.g., AutoDMS, Tally, SAP).

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of vehicle spare parts and accessories.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Computer proficiency (MS Excel, DMS/ERP tools).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
