Job Description

SP Core + Automation Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and troubleshoot
SP Core
networks (MPLS, Segment Routing, L2/L3 VPN, BGP, IS-IS, OSPF).
Work extensively on Cisco
ASR 9000, NCS 5000/5500, CRS
platforms.
Develop automation scripts using
Python, Ansible
, and network APIs (
NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI
).
Implement
NSO
or similar orchestration tools for service provisioning and zero-touch deployment.
Configure and manage
model-driven telemetry
and integrate with monitoring platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout of new services and upgrades.

Required Skills

SP Core Networking
Deep expertise in MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, QoS, IPv6, and VPN services.
Network Automation
– Proficiency in Python, Ansible, YANG models, and API-based network management.
Cisco Platform Expertise
– Hands-on experience with ASR, NCS, CRS, and Cisco NSO.

Preferred Qualifications

CCNP/CCIE Service Provider certification.
Experience with
SDN in SP environments
(Cisco Crosswork, Itential, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud-based networking and containerized workloads.
