Job Description

Your role will involve conducting internal system audits and risk assessments for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) applications within the organization. You will be responsible for coordinating both internal and external audits, ensuring timely follow-up on audit issues, responses, action plans, and remediation efforts. Your primary focus will be on testing ITACs and ITGCs to identify any deficiencies in the controls implemented by management. It is essential to have a basic understanding of industry standards and frameworks such as COBIT. Working closely with Control and Process Owners, you will ensure a comprehensive understanding of SOX processes and procedures to address audit requests effectively. You will also be involved in assessing risks to the organization when engaging vendors for the development, management, access management, transmission, and storage of information assets. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for new staff on various ITGC concepts and handle Walkthrough calls. Your profile should include experience and knowledge in SOX, ITGC, internal audit, and external audit processes.
