Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled South Indian Cook who can prepare authentic South Indian dishes with consistency, quality, and hygiene. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of traditional recipes and experience working in a professional kitchen. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, poori, upma, meals, biryani, etc. Maintain quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes. Ensure proper handling of kitchen equipment and ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards. Manage daily prep, mise-en-place, and stock levels. Support the kitchen team during peak hours. Follow portion control, minimize wastage, and maintain consistency. Plan menu items and assist in new dish development if required. RequirementsProven experience as a South Indian Cook in a hotel or restaurant. Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Good communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety. Salary & Benefits Salary: Based on experience Food & accommodation: Provided / As per company policy
