SCALE OF APPOINTMENT IBA Scale II/III (The scale of appointment will be fixed by the management based on the qualification and experience of the applicant) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 31.07.2025) Work Experience 5+ years of experience in VMware administration (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Minimum Educational Qualification B.Tech / B.E / MCA / M.Sc (IT / CS) / BCA / B.Sc (IT / CS / CA) from a recognized University with a minimum score of 50% TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Probation 1 year (IBA Package) JOB DESCRIPTION Provide L2 technical support for VMware infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues Monitor and respond to alerts and notifications from VMware monitoring tools Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching and upgrading VMware software Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtual machine performance, networking, and storage Collaborate with L1 resources to resolve issues and escalate complex problems to L3 resources as needed Document knowledge and procedures in a knowledge management system Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support. Implementation on security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, NBAD, NDR, DLP, PAM, EDR/XDR, CASB, cloud security tools, and IDAM is required. Conduct testing, validation, and post-implementation reviews of security solutions to ensure effectiveness and operational readiness. Monitoring and investigating security alerts and events using security tools, and coordinate response actions to contain, eradicate, and recover from suspicious activities and potential threats. Perform log analysis, correlation, development of use cases, playbooks and forensic investigations across endpoints, networks, and servers in security tools.
