Sous Chef (Italian)

As a Sous Chef (Italian) at Grand Hyatt Bali, you will be an integral part of our friendly and professional team. Your role will involve assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen department in alignment with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. Your commitment to excellence and passion for culinary arts will be crucial in ensuring the satisfaction of our guests, employees, and owners. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong background in professional culinary, practical operational skills, and adequate administrative abilities. Your creativity and leadership qualities will be key in contributing to the success of our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Chef de Cuisine to manage the kitchen as an independent profit center, emphasizing maximum guest satisfaction through effective planning, organization, direction, and control. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 4 years as a Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with high standards. Previous experience in luxury international brands will be advantageous. A qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will further enhance your credentials. Proficiency in kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health, and safety standards is essential for this position. Basic computer skills in MS Office and Recipe Maintenance System are preferred. This position is open to local candidates with an Indonesian passport.
