Job Description

As a Sous Chef at Hyatt International, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the efficient running of the department in alignment with the company's Corporate Strategies and brand standards. Your primary focus will be on meeting the expectations of employees, guests, and owners while ensuring maximum guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the assigned kitchen operation as a successful independent profit center. - Plan, organize, direct, and control the Kitchen operation and administration to maintain high standards. - Ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards. - Maintain and update recipes in Recipe Maintenance System. - Utilize basic Computer Skills in MS Office for daily operational tasks. Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards. - Preferably have experience working in luxury international brands. - Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.
