Sourcing Specialist, AMEA Procurement

Role Overview: As a Sourcing Manager Packaging AMEA at Mondelez India Foods Private Limited, your role involves leading the sourcing of Rigid and Specialty Packaging across India and ANZ. You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, executing packaging strategies, managing suppliers, and negotiating contracts. Your role is crucial in meeting business productivity programs while ensuring a sustainable and continuous supply chain. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineers, Quality, and Finance is essential to implement sourcing decisions seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: - Develop sourcing plans based on Business Unit needs and regional supplier landscape, focusing on categories like Rigid Plastics, Metals, Thermoforming, IML, and Specialty Packaging. - Execute sourcing events (RFI/RFQ) using Mondelez e-sourcing systems and evaluate supplier quotations, cost models, and total cost of ownership. - Support the implementation of category sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities and maintain procurement documentation, pricing files, contracts, and supplier master data. - Collaborate with local BU procurement operations to implement new contracts and enhance operational service levels, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance. - Monitor supplier performance to meet OTIF / RFT targets, lead supplier development activities, and drive performance improvements. - Identify and execute productivity projects, monitor cost trends, and support New Product Development and Packaging Reformulation Plans. - Support packaging sustainability initiatives and coordinate pilot projects, material trials, and supplier capability studies with R&D and technical teams. - Collaborate with various functions like R&D, Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Project Commercialization Managers, Regional Procurement, Market Teams, CPRM, BU & Regional Finance for alignment and compliance. Qualification Required: Education: - Degree in Engineering (Packaging/Mechanical/Polymer/Chemical/Industrial) OR - Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement/Commerce with strong packaging procurement experience. Experience: - 3-7 years of procurement, sourcing, category management, or packaging vendor management experience. - Experience in FMCG, Food, Beverage, Pharma, Consumer Goods, or related supplier ecosystems. - Exposure to packaging manufacturing is preferred.
