Sourcing & Quotation Specialist

JOB OPPORTUNITY: SOURCING AND QUOTATION SPECIALIST

The Sourcing and Quotation Specialist is a key player in our regional quote team, focused on driving cost competitiveness and managing the supply chain for critical electronic components. This role requires precision, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to meeting aggressive timelines in a fast-paced environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Quotation & Value Engineering

• Work within the regional quote team to support all activities related to the quotation process.

• Source, Identify, and Determine

  the lowest competitive quote for materials.
• Review part numbers, descriptions, and specifications to provide

  alternative suggestions (VAVE / Value Engineering)

  .

Commodity & Supplier Management

• Possess strong

  Commodity Knowledge of Passives

  (Resistors, Capacitors, Fuses, & Batteries).
• Work and maintain professional relationships with key suppliers.
• Demonstrate strong

  Negotiation Skills

  during pricing discussions.

• Supply base contact and knowledge

  is a significant advantage.

Analytical & Operational Excellence

• Utilize good

  data analytical skills

  and maintain sensitivity with numbers.
• Able to work

  independently

  and adhere strictly to defined timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Educational Foundation

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)

  in

  Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

  or

  Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

  .

Experience

• Minimum

  1 year of experience

  (Target Range: 1 to 3 Years) in sourcing and supply base management.
• Preferable experience in the

  EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services)

  industry or within the

  Active & Passive commodities

  environment.

Skills & Attributes

• Communication:

  Strong communication skills, including excellent

  English (written & verbal)

  .

• Tools & Analysis:

  Strong

  PC tool skills

  (e.g., advanced Excel) and demonstrated

  business analysis skills

  are required.

• Personal Attributes:

  Must be a mature individual, highly motivated, and self-driven.
