The Role

Truthfools is a live streaming platform our mission is to bring smiles in our consumers lives. This role is for Truthfools studio producing web series, Sports leagues, Music Videos & other entertainment products. We are searching for a skilled and tech-savvy songwriter to create songs that will resonate with an audience. The songwriter’s responsibilities include analyzing existing hits and music industry trends, networking with industry professionals, and producing work to client specifications and time frames. You should also be able to use traditional instruments and software to create jingles and backing tracks. To be successful as a songwriter, you should have a wide vocabulary and the ability to identify the elements that make a song appealing. Outstanding candidates are perceptive wordsmiths with a good ear and excellent knowledge of current affairs.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients and producing songs that fit their specifications.
• Conducting research and collaborating with other songwriters, musicians, and artists to produce quality lyrics and melodies.
• Generating original ideas and playing around with traditional instruments like pianos, guitars, and drums to get a sense of how the piece might sound during a live performance.
• Using software for editing, mixing, and mastering.
• Discussing songs with clients or artists and implementing any changes as soon as possible.
• Creating demos and pitching them to prospective clients.
• Expanding your skill set by attending music conferences, poetry readings, and workshops.
• Establishing networks and building relationships with industry artists, producers, and directors.
• Building a positive online presence and promoting your work on various platforms.

Requirements

• A degree in fine art, music, creative writing, or a related discipline might be advantageous.
• Industry experience and existing connections are recommended.
• A sound understanding of melody, poetry, music, and lyrics.
• Strong analytical and time management abilities.
• Good research and marketing skills.
• Superb written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Diligent, deadline-driven, and willing to work with other artists.
