Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer at Checkmarx, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales and business development activities in India and other global regions. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a technical adviser and product expert, collaborating with the Sales team to drive the technology evaluation stage in the sales process. Your ability to effectively communicate technology and product positioning to both business and technically-oriented prospects will be key in ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Working in a fast-paced environment, both remotely and onsite within India and expanding territories, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by: - Acting as a technical adviser and product expert for prospects and customers - Managing and coordinating all technical requirements in the Sales process - Performing technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution - Presenting the solution at field events, conferences, seminars, etc. - Responding to functional and technical elements of RFPs - Conveying customer requirements to Product Management teams - Designing implementation of solutions based on customers" technical specifications To succeed in this role, you will need: - A passion for learning and growth in a fast-changing industry - A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree and/or CISSP certification preferred - 2-4 years of experience in application/software development with C#, .NET, JAVA, PHP, etc. programming languages - Experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools is a plus - Customer-facing role experience and enterprise software Pre-Sales or consulting background preferred - Project management experience is advantageous - Technical writing experience is a plus - Strong teamwork capability and the ability to work autonomously - Background in the software security industry, including penetration testing and code review, is highly preferred - Adaptability and flexibility with a history of embracing new tools and technologies - Understanding of application security challenges and testing tools - Willingness to travel when the situation allows and is safe to do so In addition to the exciting and impactful role, Checkmarx offers a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to securing application development from code to cloud for enterprises worldwide.,
