What awaits you/ Job Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead & Solutions Architect for our Informatica PowerCenter Platform. The ideal candidate should have a robust technical background, a deep understanding of agile methodologies, and proven expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Linux Operating Systems. The Team Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions and guiding the external provider through complex technical challenges and driving the adoption of best practices in both development and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter master solution, ensuring a robust, scalable, and efficient platform.
  • Collaborate on system design and architecture, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives), ensuring adherence to Scrum or Kanban practices.
  • Proactively identify risks and roadblocks, implementing timely mitigation strategies and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain and improve reporting mechanisms for status updates, technical documentation, and progress tracking.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
  • Ensure the provided solutions comply with BMW’s security standards, performance metrics, and scalability requirements.
  • Proactively identify, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and system issues.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure project continuity and team alignment.

What should you bring along

  • Extensive experience in Informatica PowerCenter and other ETL solutions as well as general software architecture
  • Knowledge of SQL for database management and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and mentor team members effectively.
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks and experience in roles such as Scrum Master or (Sub-) Product Owner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work in a multi-cultural, global environment.
